Biography

My name is Jaydee White, I was born in Bowling Green Kentucky. I spent my early years moving from place to place before somewhat settling in Kansas. Where I would graduate high school at Norton Community College, before attending Fort Hays Northwest for two years.

Where I Am Now

I am currently attending Fort Hays Northwest in my second year on the Backend Development pathway. I currently plan to transfer to Fort Hays State University when I am done with the course here.

I’m currently focused on backend API development, and in my free time, improving my Three.js skills.

How I Like to Code

I prefer to establish a strong standard, first building one high quality route or feature, and then using that as a reference for the rest of the project.

For example, when refactoring a backend into Nest.js, I fully refine one route group before scaling the pattern across the rest of the application.

Past Projects

• Trego County Sheriff’s Office — Backend Developer
  Developed RESTful APIs, integrated Google Sheets for data access, and implemented secure, authenticated endpoints.
• Bite Byte — Backend Developer
  Designed core backend logic and managed data flow between services to ensure efficient and reliable processing.
• Topside Tipoff — Backend Developer
  Resolved critical issues, removed unnecessary features, refactored the codebase from Express (JavaScript) to TypeScript, and initiated migration to NestJS for improved scalability and structure.
• 6th Grade Day - Ai Pictionary - Primary Ai Manager
  Worked Primarily in the training of the Ai used for the Project. It is noteable that for the app to work access needs to be given to the web browser to access your screen. Furthermore a drawing tool is not provided.
